joexnzIt costs me more in fixed costs to keep car on the road than it's market value
Insurance - £400 apprx
with bumper breakdown policy (i got the at home option cause thats where I usually break down and then it was only another £7 to get the one that provided a rent car etc
Road Tax - £110
MOT - £50 plus whatever repairs are needed (cross fingers that new battery would have been all)
Cost of Car - £600 apprx, although that was last year is probably less now
It's not even a car I enjoy driving much, I miss my KATV
maybe I should think about trading it for another one the I prefer thats worth about the same.
£160 for exam and workbook for first IAQ exam (I have another two)
£150 to pay off visa bill
£75 to pay back to Steven
£130apprx incl p&p for Xmas
£90 to Joslin Rowe for remainder of overpaid holiday money
but all this does mean I start the year debtish free (i say debtish as gamer is paying my car insurance so I don't have to pay the 20% extra for split payments, so will be paying him by installments)
Lots of time off next week though
Monday Xmas lunch you aren't expected to return from, so that'll be another £50 on lunch and assorted boozing then
Friday - mayhave discretionary short afternoon, yay!!
Gamer was panicing about his first assignment last night, I hope he's managed okay with it. Actually in general of late he's just been stressing about stuff (cascade effect from job down I suspect). I keep telling him it'll be alright after Xmas, but I don't really believe it anymore. It isn't going to be alright until he gets another job, which considering he wants to get a permenant job there won't be for quite some time. but then a permenant job may give him security and that might help.
To my shame I have forgotten to send the following people Xams cards, it isn't that I am not thinking about you's, okay
