Knitters have projects for places, home, bus, pub, or in my case BF’s.
We have projects for moods, something complex, something practical, something easy….
On which subject I haven’t discussed the last project in the picture I first posted.
Its the jumper/Jersey/sweater, choose your culturally appropriate word.

Needles – 4mm

Yarn - Rowan fine tweed, in various colours. I bought a ball in a different colour every week on my way to Pilates class.

Pattern – from the knitters book of sweater patterns, by Ann Budd. If you do not have this, you should. It’s a book with 5 basic sweater patterns, you work out the gauge of the stitch pattern you want to use and it gives you the math. Its brilliant, I actually knit most of my stuff from this.

I should of course be updating all of this on ravelry. But I don’t, why?
Partly the effort of continuously updating projects, making them much harder to ignore
Partly the taking the photos, I now have an SLR camera, but taking photo’s of yourself in things is harder. Especially when the only full length mirror is the one in front of the unmade bed. So every time I take a photo, you get the whole room in the shot, not ideal.
Partly that I consider ravelry a surfing site, not a posting site. Its someone elses format, I keep my knitting in my head, snippets on FB and in conversations with friends. But as I plan to move these entries to a blog platform that’s not LJ and to put patterns up for use, I had better get on with a rav presence!
