Apr. 24th, 2005 11:21 amLj resolution - that I will descripe what I did with my day in bullet points, so eveyone actually knows what i'm doing and isn't just listening to me whine.
I am hoping that apple as going to launch their new ibook on the 26th, as they don't preannounce like a normal company we have to rely on rumour, and the guts of small animals are apparently spilling in promising ways (could someone remind me waht that activity is called please). Which does raise the interesting question of what to call it, my powerbook 100 was william reginald tucker the third, so my new new will also be tucker. I'm thinking periwinkle for the first name (small white shiny) and something relating to yellow for the second, or maybe just ducatti (as its that shade of yellow it will eventually be going). but thats to chav. Suggestions please...
and in local news North Bridge, the major throughfare of central Edinburgh (its not a city laid for north/south) has been closed since 7:30am yesterday because of a man threatening to jump. would there come a point where it would be in every ones best interests (ie before he starts hallcuinating) where a plastic bullet to the upper torso to push him back and a twenty stone copper to sit on his chest is the best option. It's a sunday, so it's not to bad, come monday and one man is going to slow down an entire city.
My powerbook 100 was the machine that Glenn Anderson wrote the apple version of POP on. Or whatever its was, it was the first Post office to be written for apple rather than just stationary (ie email). If anyone other than miche was geeky enough to know or care that I did once (actually twice) go out with a geek demigod. Miche will probably also mention that it wasn't good thing for my life, i dislike coming a poor third, high spec computer, sports car, just sexy enough girlfriend.
