art history stuff

well I might be teaching a course in Edinburgh's 3rd semester (is that located in the 5th or sixth dimension miss!). And it has been commented on that when I talk about art history I can shot way over some peoples heads. So was going to start posting a regular prob weekly feature on a beginners guide to art history(also tightens up on writing discipline). You can all comment on it, if you found it interesting or boring, etc etc. I'll include links to the pictures whereever I can, but may jsut have to provide the titles. If you think this exercise is to intellectual for lj posting let me know, or if you think it's a fab idea to raise the conversation you could also comment.
