Gamer Update

had told gamer he would have no trouble getting job in edinburgh and he's sent his CV to 9 IT job agencies and three have contacted him to say, thanks but no thanks. His skill set is narrow in use. He does have all skills to become an actuary, but thats a long term thing. Have sent him agencies that might deal with more Financial IT to see if they are more use. He doesn't really know what he wants to do, which makes it bit harder.
I feel a little guilty I didn't realise it was going to be so difficult. It's very easy to say yeah you'll find something there are so many jobs, but there are also so many more people applying for them. Let this be a warning grass is not greener!
