really boring subjects I know
turns out centeral heating was not playing up is actually on until 1 in morning. Steven keeps roughly similar hours to gamer and is yet another reason why his computer is never going to be in same room as my bed. It'll win out everytime at about 11:30 at night when I want to go to sleep and it's still whirring alluringly in the corner.
Visit last night went well, babe ruth is a sweet wee thing and people kept mentioning I was being maternal (Stevens biological clock is ticking, i'm just looking at mine thinking that I've really only got another viable 7 years and wouldn't mind having one at some point, but can survive without) and theres a photo of me holding said child. Was trying to convince them to teach her the face hug thing but don't think I convinced heather. Stuart's starting a runequest game soon and I asked if I could come along (apperently there are no female roleplayers in there circle). Got saucepans back and books are safely stacked in corner.
realised I have not mentioned upgrade, when I was in chch airport about 5 hours early for flight they were over booked and convinced some of us to go to melbourne and then sydney. So I got free trip to melbourne (kiwi passport so could leave airport), upgraded to buisness for flight to singapore (drool! buisness class lounges) and got NZ$500 which I spent wandering round melbourne, bought skirt as was quite warm. But am so fat I got chaffed thighs owwwy!. Bought books for flight and ruby and diamond earings. Took an extra 10 hours but was worth it just to say I had been upgraded.
Am off to Rome next week so will be not updating quite so often or emailing people (you are big boys and girls you can cope).
Enrolled with Office Angels this morning and it didn't go to well, was rather rushed and not sure she really knew what to do with me. Also I'd had to chase them to call me back so wasn't overly impressed. Still haven't heard from Hayes and have chased them, if they can't return a phone call they obviously can't find me a job, so will go sort out a fourth agency upon return. Everyone keeps saying its slow so probably will be lurking round for while when I get back. But means they have time to check the references (I gave Grahme Elkin HOD of management as one).
People decamped from couches in london and now have two places to stay, which is all good.
not much else to report currently, will let everyonen know how rome went and off to do Xmas shopping am considering sending madame dictator a diary, the KAOS organiser (oh! the irony)
