its a good idea, but who the fuck is will ferrell????
I orignally gave it 2, megans response was 'that much????!@!!!!!'
and shes right, i didn't quite give up but almost
its a 1.5/5, watch it on someones elses DVD if you want back ground filler

I had high hopes for this
Bob hoskins is okay, but not riveting
premise is medicore really and the violence is tame
and it has a happy (though non sexual) hollywood ending
3 out of 5
wouldn't go watch it again, but not upset at having seen it
also for some bizarre reason set in glasgow, with american and asian lead, english villan and assorted (ie wideboy and punk) london henchmen
also gourmet shopping in a local spar, clearly these people didn't actually leave the film lot

The island
missed the first five minutes
spot the voyager actor, sean bean is bad again (sigh, give it up man we all prefer you as sharpe)
was good, premise is a bit of a rehash (big brother, logans run, and irobot feel in places) but ewan acquits himself well
the major problem I had was that scarlett beats ewan in the x-box games, so is set up as a strong female
but once on the outside is reduced to running behind ewan, though not screaming her ability definately suffers
overall better crafted and shot (longer to) than the first two and i actually cared.
so a 3.5/5

yes they are all hollywood movies and expect the genre hollywood movie
but hey great culture needs a banal background to stand out.
