went to ben and katies with Paul
gamer was in bed, with crook knee, poorly tum and sleep fuzzed head

reviewed my flat warming party
which seems to assuming status (as someone who is at times socially arkward, I find it bemusing)
I think this is a sign that I just know really really cool people.

ben had a great time, despite the hassle for his hari cut
some people staggering round whilst drunk at 6 in the morning after, got banned from co-op

talking to the cute guy who was slightly frustrated that buter knives strapped to the back of his hand and a cigar made him edward scissror hands and not wolverine
was only there for a couple of hours, but was glad to go.

for those of you who know my boyfriend
he doesn't like going to pubs, as he doesn't like smoke, doesn't drink a great deal and the top range of his hearing is somewhat damaged so when it gets noisy he can't distinguish what people say well enough to have a conversation.
it took me awhile to figure out how pub culture works here (as NZ just doens't have one)
and he's still working on that
however, I just showed him the jelly baby henge and rally
he agreed he should come to the pub occasionally.
when pubs go smoke free next year I'm hoping to extend that a bit.
