Goddamnit
this thing is a sink of money for how much i actually use it
I like having a car, but the list of needed and recommended repairs that kwik fit just gave me, is equal to the value of the car. Which according to bangernomics is when you need to get rid and get another one.
I would like the KATV back, but as I only really have three long distance runs planned this year (newcastle to catch budapest flight, york for roman festival, and aberdeen gaming con) I'm not sure I actually need something that big. The rest of the time, its the occasional trip to IKEA, stevens, helping people move and stuff round town.
It costs me £500 pa just to use it and petrol/repairs on top of that.
I don't have a permenant job and I don't know how much i make on annual basis and I really don't want to dip into my savings for a new car.
I can pay just under half the value of the car for repairs to get it through the MOT and then sell/trade it next year. But recent scratches will need to be fixed first.

I was thinking more sci-fi, but is good that its extended in other directions as well, geeks should be well rounded
