Jan. 27th, 2005 01:30 pmwork is very very busy and its difficult to get anything done.
probably doesn't help that I was late in this morning, woke up and saw x:40 on clock and assumed it was 7:40 it wasn't its was 8:40, so when it said when I got back from my shower, my first thought was, I wasn't in the shower that long!!!!
Still feel better for the sleep.
OU course starts this weekend, I got 72% in my last one (i should probably email laura and tell her that). Am going to try for highly structured essays this time and aim for 80% as average mark. So am going to have be diligent all year. Though this year my tuts are in sterling, so John Conolly can stop hassling me to visit him in bo'ness as I can drive there and see him on the way back.
Got my membership for the whiskey society whilst in hospital, I haven't had the whiskey yet. Actually so far its not exactly been a sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle. I've not a had a drink all year, sex the once (hey ovarian cysts aren't really placed to make it comfie), drugs i've probably done okay on, had one lot of codine in the Royal and had morphine (morphine is your surgery friend) drip at the Murrayfield. And I haven't bought a rock n roll Cd yet, will hunt meredith brookes at some point. Should also organise sending something in for first party as well.
gamer is back tonight, he miscalculated (though would have been cooler had he not told me and it could have been surprise) but I have pub quiz, burns supper and karoke thing tonight.
