for those of you with an ALF in your life or knows someone with an ALF in their life. Boer War Bonds were not published with an expiry date, apparently you can still buy them on the bond market (second hand obviously). I would presume the original certificates are still kicking about as well, which is what you get along with a small interest payment when you buy one. If anyone wants one to compelte an ALF mess somewhere, let me know and i'll go find out availabilty and cost.
