1/ did over 50% of the voting public actually vote this time, in which case not only is the majority president but is actually truly democratically elected (as opposed to less than 50% which isn't really )
2/ is there anyone seriously trying to change the way they get elected, apperently the last three presidents have all been minority ones (that includes clinton)
3/ Was it Kerry everyone was rooting for or just someone who wasn't Bush???

1/ NZ is a banna (or sheep) republic that most of the time does a pretty good job of being a westminister democracy. We are simply to small to matter most of the time, so don't be fooled we have our problems to.
