sunny the red burmese is sick, and pets dying is always bad. Always affect my father more than rest of family, which makes it more sad. Espically sunny who was always daddy's little boy (even though he caused one cat to run away, one to only come home at night and drove another to early retirement). He is 14 years old and dad is not the country at the moment, so makes it very hard for him(for me not being in the same place does add a bit of emotional distance, until I actually start thinking about it and then I have remind myself I'm in an intercafe and it's only a cat so I stand a chance of passing my 'emotional control no crying' roll).
If anyone knows my friend rachel could you buy her a coffee when you see her as she is looking after our cats at the moment and is doing very well for an aspect of the job she didn't sign up for and she is very attached to animals.

hence the trip to IKEA
is nice enough, old building, fellow geek (swede), very very centeral
sanded floors, but old kitchen.
will be staying a few nights a week and him at mine. Will be nice to have own space at least til octber when we look for place of own (provided he hasn't become pissed off by the fact I'm a bossy little cow by then). He moves on friday, will be at bit of loss what to do by self as have had him at side constantly for last month (unless I've been at work)
