so far this week

have had haircut, hair is currently jaw length (but all of it this time). this is my mothers fav length for my hair. Which is fine for her she doesn't have to live in it. I hate it is long enough to flyaway and get in food, but not long enough to tie back properly.
have worked 2.5 hours over time and have a friday afternoon with lots of work to do, yay people giving me stuff to do instead of me asking.
have spoken to gamer, and hassled him til it hurt about his bald spot and said some stuff that may mean he doesn't stay at mine for long, stuff about cooking not takeways and how he'll be expected to do some. I don't think i've mentioned the lack of dishwasher yet.
Started OU course
Got my roleplaying character and a wednesday night game will be starting shortly. Wow something like a regular social engagement, cool!
Went and registered at dr's, have to call on moday and make apointment to see the health nurse. So I can make appointment to see dr, sigh.
Wrote down hours for rest of month, so many 8-4's a few 10-6 and no 9-5, how did that happen. Oh well should use it constructively and go home and do OU stuff for hour before dinner rather than watch countdown.
Is one month exactly til gamer gets here, am getting more excited about it. And also more nervous after two months apart things are bit off the boil and distance shows sometimes. My dreams of cosy soft focus future with him are all very well, but they seem to be increasingly about me and not him or us.

trip to venice

my parents have booked a trip to venice at the beginning of may (yay them) and I'm going with them, (will take gamer to if he's about). was all bouncy at thought until I remembered a remark I jokingly made years ago. My fathers sense of direction isn't great and he can follow a map okay (though prob adds -2 to d10 roll for it). He likes knowing where he is, problem is in Venice you are 75% lost all of the time. the only way I am letting my father lose in venice if one us stays with him at all times (gamer is going to be on restraunt bathroom duty (he never thought about the scarifices he was going to end up making)as they always hide them in wierd corners in Italian resturants (had one whcih you had go through the kitchens to get to)) or we can get GPS satellite techonology for him. Though would have to have better than 30cm accuracy, metres go very long way in venice.
