Got spreadsheet working and remebered that if I saved it with .xls alfonso's machine could read it. So it all worked out (was even something of geek by normal standards (though was pathetic attempt by geek standards).
So got all the figures for his VAT quarter on the spread sheet. this afternoon in practice for our retirement we sat round for five minutes this afternoon having tea, maderia cake and watching bad day time tv. (oh please let OU stuff arrive soon so can spend day doing intellectual stuff). And he paid me, I hadn't asked for it, just said if he wanted me to keep doing it would be happy to if he slipped me the occasional fiver. (may also have mentioned was dirt poor), but wasn't expecting payment was just glad not be staring at the walls all day. Also may have scored shift behind bar one saturday in feb.
found megans valentines day pressie and decided what I'm going to send kaos for their first party treat. Found a v-day pressie for gamer to, but as he'll be there shortly after hardly seems any point in sending it.
