Sunday Afternoon
Dec. 21st, 2003 03:02 pmthis is when I would traditionally climb arthurs seat, but as it snowed last night the ground will be slippy and cold. Unlike NZ Scotland doesn't have a DOC to but neat gravel paths everywhere so the walk up is a scramble through the grass.
I wanted to do miche's survey but internet cafe went from being great on opening (you could everything) to crap where internet is only thing, no printing, no disks and no word (only word viewer). Still its easy to use and centeral.
Football match. Years ago my friend Alonso (Fonz) took me to see Hibs v Celtic at the Hibs ground, he is a hibbie and so we stood in the hibs stand and hibs won 2-1. I haven't been to a match since until the one the other day. For which if you subsistute John for Fonz was exactly the same. (hibs won 2-1). Wierd I am definate jinx on time (ha! that'll teach Robert Mcelvanny to find a better pick line)
Flat finding was so stress free its starting to creep me out, its to easy something must be wrong somewhere surely???!!!
Circe del Soqueil or however you spell it is coming to London, def have to go see that. Other things to see Cold Mountain, an entery in gamers journal (fewer and fewer, but then does anyone else read them??), my glasses (haven't rung the insurance people yet as have nasty suspsicion should have reported them lost sooner).
Must also organise insurance for the car, so I can drive it up from Scarbourgh if I don't get work between Xmas and New Years (is unlikely). Having lunch with boss tomorrow, as much as I like the thought of getting a job quickly wouldn't really feel like moving on to go work there again. Will be going to Stevens for Xmas this year in some form of bizarre karmic payback for the year I invited Stephen Duncan round for Xmas with my folks. Hey maybe next Xmas will be just me and Gamer, lots of good food, brandy cream and lounging/other things around in bed.
Am off to drool over Ikea furniture on line now.
