I suppose I should just tell him that he smiles the same way, makes the same silly jokes, stills wears a leather trench coat, and if wants to be the same person he was in Chch he should have stayed there.
but yeah I don't what it's like in Wellington and Auckland but Edinburgh (london I think less so) tends not to have a large number of alternative looking people. We have them, but they all wear suits during the day. We have wierdo's damn it, bit harder to spot. but just cause I wear a suit doesn't make me one. also I think north of the bridges in studentville would be better place to find them, not in my safe middle class neighbourhood.
