Quick review - with spoilers

Harry Potter:

not as good as the first few, but mercifully shorter than the last two
apparently wizards are very naive teenangers
another major character off'd, a properly major one this time


CSI: the trantino episodes

good, very good, real edge of seats moments
though he did spin out the end by someone having an hallucination
which was very very unCSI like

Change in plot style from the previous series members, mercifully less whining than the last one

this is true the only scene that doesn't have harry in it is the PM 's office, voldamort doesn't appear at all.

And the rather key one following that, at Snape's house, is Harry-less. Also, first book with Harry et al. not purely on the defensive, though I'm not entirely sure about introducing a quest for the magical plot tokens at this stage (Something I saw a reference to once- the characters collect the set of magical plot tokens, then can send away to the author for the final chapter) even though there are some fairly big road signs about where to look.
